This speak to us. slate.com/news-and-politics/2018/02/the-student-activists-of-marjory-stoneman-douglas-high-demonstrate-the-power-of-a-full-education.html “….extracurricular education—one that focuses on skills beyond standardized testing and rankings—creates passionate citizens who are spring-loaded for citizenship…” If you know me, I am always chatting and promoting school cafeterias as being an extension of the classroom; extracurricular education! We strongly feel that meals/nutrition are part of that extracurricular full education. Don’t you agree? No matter the politics, I believe we are all proud and inspired by the students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High. Furthermore, I think we can all agree on the positive life-long impact school meal programs have on our youngsters. March on!
